Mike Addison Optician Ltd is a truly independent professional optical company covering the Eden Valley and beyond.

We have two main practices, one in the historic Shire Hall on Appleby’s famous ‘Sands’ and another in the beautiful market town of Kirkby Stephen. We also hold a fortnightly satellite clinic at the Shap Medical Practice, Shap.

Our practices are a perfect blend of all that you would expect from a traditional optician mixed with some of the most up to date equipment for examining eyes and vision.

Each practice has a very comfortable, relaxed yet professional ambience. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by one of our friendly, professional team, who will instantly give you a feeling of reassurance and put you at ease.
